VaLCV Legislative Update Call

Join VaLCV’s 2019 Legislative Update Call Series for Weekly Insider Updates.

The 2019 General Assembly officially kicked off Jan. 9.
While it’s a short session this year, 2019 will be a huge year for conservation, with much at stake for the issues we care about, everything from funding for clean water and land conservation, to securing final solutions for coal ash cleanup, and acting to address climate change.
This session will also be pivotal in a huge electoral year, with all 140 seats on the ballot in November and the very real possibility of a power shift at the General Assembly.
Every Friday during session, VaLCV will provide updates on the latest news coming out of the GA as it pertains to clean air, clean water, and protected lands, as well as what to expect in the weeks to come.
Calls will be held on Fridays at 12:30 p.m. -- sign up now to join this week’s Conservation Update Call.  Call-in information will be sent to you once you RSVP.
We have a huge opportunity in 2019 to secure long-term environmental safeguards.  An engaged and informed membership makes our job at the GA much easier.
Our weekly calls are an opportunity for members like you to learn more about our issues, the behind-the-scenes politics at play that affect our legislative priorities, and what you can do as a conservation voter to ensure positive final outcomes.

Please sign-up today for our weekly calls.  We look forward to big things in 2019.

Sincerely,
Mike Town
